Hope World

Did you know that South Korean artist J-Hope has a wonderful album called Hope World? Have a listen for the full experience of thought:
What is hope?
When we think of words like “expectation” and “compensation”, it is more often being given a negative connotation.
To be in a state of mind where one must always receive something is a dangerous pathway that can lead to a life of disappointments.
In contrast, life spent in gratitude activates a neural pathway in our brain with proven beneficial effects.
The amount of work we put into activities we face each day determines the amount of compensation we receive.
It’s really simple — a wave or a short greeting to your neighbor puts a smile on his/her face just as much as it will put a smile on yours.
A hug given to your friend releases hormones that soothe your nervous system, and comforts a friend!
A handshake shows agreement that closes business deals.
A kiss expresses love.
And genuine hard work, whether noticed or not, gives purpose and fulfillment to the person doing the work.
To the leaders, parents, children, students, teachers, journalists, artists, workers, doctors, nurses, residents, interns, clerks, lawyers, engineers, accountants, businessmen and businesswomen, guards, janitors, caretakers, and even babies, I see you. I’m with you. You are valid. You are important, and you deserve all the joy that this world brings.
Happy Labor Day!
Never stop having hope,
Belle 💛
